Aleksandra Tsenkova
Psychotherapist
About me and my work
Grounded in a trauma-informed, person-centred approach, Aleksandra’s work focuses on creating safe, compassionate spaces where difficult experiences can be processed at a pace that feels respectful and empowering. She integrates evidence-based practices – including DBT, Polyvagal-informed work, and coaching techniques – tailored to each individual’s needs.
Aleksandra is the author of The Person-Centred Approach: A Modern Return to Carl Rogers’ Theory, published on Amazon in both English and Bulgarian. In her writing and clinical work, she advocates for therapy that moves away from “fixing” people and toward deeper self-understanding, authenticity, and sustainable inner change.
Clients and teams often describe Aleksandra as calm, deeply empathic, and fully present. Her thoughtful, person-centred style supports people in reconnecting with their inner resources and leading their lives from a place of clarity, dignity, and resilience – core values of 5C that underpin both personal growth and healthy organizational cultures.
